ADAM HANDLER’S NEW SOLO SHOW IS COMING

We’re more than happy to announce HERE NOT THERE, Adam Handler’s upcoming solo exhibition at Cohle Gallery Paris.

Originally planned as a show around his iconic Girls, the exhibition evolved when Adam shared with us a new body of work, dreamlike landscapes created alongside his figurative pieces, as a way to breathe and escape.

The unexpected dialogue between these works gave birth to HERE NOT THERE, a gentle shift between presence and distance, between the familiar and the imaginary.

The show opens on May 15, just steps from the Tuileries Garden.

Adam Handler

Hailing from Queens, New York, Adam Handler was raised amidst the vibrant art scene of Long Island and New York City. His passion for contemporary art led him to study drawing in Italy and art history at Purchase College. As a rising New York artist, Handler's work is characterized by spontaneity and a vivid color palette. His use of Faux Naïf technique and elements of Ghost and Figurative art stimulate emotional responses, offering an immersive rather than contemplative experience to viewers.
