Hailing from Antwerp, Belgium, Joachim Lambrechts, born in 1986, has made waves as an acclaimed urban artist. His artistic journey began in 2001 at an Antwerp art school. However, by 2004, the allure of the graffiti and street art scene pulled him away from formal education. Joachim dove deep into graffiti, rapidly carving a name for himself in the Belgian street art community. From 2010 onward, while still creating captivating street art across Europe, Joachim pivoted to canvas painting. Unlike his carefully planned murals, Joachim’s canvas work is raw and spontaneous. Within the confines of his studio, he discovers an unexpected freedom, leading to art that radiates both urgency and purity.
